About Judy Raymer Ivkoff

Judy Head ShotBio:

Judy is a Toronto-based sculptor. She is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art  and  Design with further studies in Italy, USA and the sculpture department of Central Technical School,Toronto.
The source of her ideas is the natural physical world about her with a strong link to Algonquin Park in northern Ontario.
Judy is hands-on, her materials -various woods, limestone stone, the metals -bronze, steel, copper are worked separately or in combination. Her work is abstract and ranges in size from intimate handheld pieces to large outdoor works.
Judy sculpture has been shown in both public and commercial galleries across Canada. Her sculpture has been juried into international exhibitions and has been represented at the Toronto International Art Fair numerous times.
Six catalogues have been produced to accompany her major solo and tandem shows.
Her work is in Canadian corporate collections and in private collections in Canada, USA, Britain, France and China.
Judy begin each day with her walk-to-work. A hike on one of Toronto’s trail systems, and all that “stuff”  gleaned from her walks, she takes to the studio to start each day.
